While studying in Canada, Masayo Arimoto developed an interest in translating English picture books into Japanese.

The girl in this story realized the most precious thing to herself after she grew up. It was not a pretty doll or accessories but good memories from time spend with her grandfather, pets and animals.
I have been wondering, “what is the most precious thing in life?” Through my life abroad, I have found it important to meet people, to have experiences and to make many memories. It might not be possible to meet the same people again or to visit the same places. Collect experiences and memories, and those will be our treasure in the future.
